"Wooo hooo!! Yeaaaaah!!! FUCK HER IN THE PUSSY!" - bro standing next to us at the Chvrches show last night at the Palladium, right after their second song.
Humanity is terrible and Chvrches fans are some of the worst. Bros whose primary goal in life is to “fuck some chicks who shop at Urban Outfitters” made up at least 2/3 of the straight male portion of the audience.
It’s a shame because their actual performance was amazing and made me want to go back and listen more closely to their record to hear some of the subtle little details that really make their songs special. To be honest I went into last night liking the band, but just considering them an above average generic electro pop band with some catchy tunes, but I gained a lot of respect for the high-level of detail that clearly has gone into each song. Too bad the bro virus outbreak is the main thing I’m going to remember about that show.

The Aislers Set were an indie pop band founded in 1998 by Amy Linton after her band Henry’s Dress broke up. They made three albums before parting ways in 2004. Later this year, all three of those albums will be reissued; their first and second, 1998’s Terrible Things Happen and 2000’s The Last Match, are out September 23 via Slumberland/Suicide Squeeze.

I can’t believe that I’m actually going to see this band play live in a few weeks. Never thought it’d happen. If this is all a dream, please don’t wake me
The One Direction concert at the Rose Bowl has literally killed all traffic flow on the 210, 3 hours before doors open. I just wanna get to the SGV for some Asian lamb skewers

Most of my current favorite guitarists are my friends. This makes me happy.
